Reprocessing of single-use devices – Common specifications for healthcare facilities and external reprocessers defined

On August 19, 2020, the EU Commission issued the IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2020/1207, which defines the common specifications for the reprocessing of single-use devices within healthcare facilities and by external reprocessors.

RoHS: EN 50581:2012 replaced by EN IEC 63000:2018

With Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/659 of the Commission of 15.05.2020 on the harmonized standard for technical documentation for the assessment of materials, components and electrical and electronic equipment in support of Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ EU L 155 of 18.05.2020, page 12), the already expected replacement of the previous EN 50581:2012 by the new EN IEC 63000:2018 was initiated.
